বাঁকুড়া জেলার ছাতনা ব্লক–এর ফুলবেড়িয়া গ্রামে বিগত ১৪ বছর ধরে চলছে “আমাদের হাসপাতাল” – যা কেবল ওই বাঁকুড়া অঞ্চল নয় , অন্য জেলা , এমন কি পার্শ্ববর্তী ঝাড়খণ্ড থেকেও দরিদ্র ও মধ্যবিত্ত রোগীদের এক ভরসা স্থল হয়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে। বৈজ্ঞানিক যুক্তিনির্ভর চিকিৎসা পদ্ধতি , স্বল্পমূল্যে প্রয়োজনীয় পরীক্ষা-নিরীক্ষা এবং অতিস্বল্পমূল্যে জেনেরিক ওষুধের ব্যবহারের মাধ্যমে দেশব্যাপী স্বাস্থ্য বাণিজ্যিকি করণের বিরূদ্ধে এই হাসপাতাল এক মডেল হয়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে। রোগীর চিকিৎসার পাশাপাশি বিগত ৮ বছর ধরে চলছে আবাসিক স্বাস্থ্যকর্মী (চিকিৎসা) প্রশিক্ষণের এক কর্মসূচি। আজ পর্যন্ত ১০০ জনেরও বেশি শিক্ষার্থী প্রশিক্ষণ শেষে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের বিভিন্ন গ্রামে সাফল্যের সঙ্গে চিকিৎসা পরিষেবা দিয়ে চলেছেন। তাদেরও জীবিকা নির্বাহ হচ্ছে সততা ও সম্মানের সঙ্গে।
আবাসিক প্রশিক্ষণ কর্মসূচিটি ৬-৮ মাসের এবং অবৈতনিক। আমাদের হাসপাতালে থাকা কালে চাষবাস, রান্না এবং মাঠে শারীরিক পরিশ্রম করা প্রশিক্ষণের আবশ্যিক অঙ্গ।প্রশিক্ষণ শেষে শংসাপত্র দেওয়া হয়।পরীক্ষা ও সাক্ষাৎকারের মাধ্যমে শিক্ষার্থী নির্বাচন করা হয়।

যে নীতি মেনে রোগীদের পরিষেবা দিতে হবে সেই বিষয়ে প্রশিক্ষিতদের সমাবর্তন অনুষ্ঠানে দশটি শপথ নিতে হয়।
প্রশিক্ষণ পরবর্তী সময়ে প্রয়োজনে মোবাইল-এর মাধ্যমে তাঁরা পরামর্শ ও নির্দেশ পেয়ে থাকেন।
গ্রামাঞ্চলে চিকিৎসক অপ্রতুলতার সমস্যা কিছুটা সমাধানের এই উদ্যোগে সামিল হতে এবং উৎসুক শিক্ষার্থীদের কাছে এই খবর পৌঁছে দেবার জন্য আপনাদের অনুরোধ জানাই।
-শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা : কমপক্ষে মাধ্যমিক পাশ। -বিজ্ঞান নিয়ে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক পাশ অগ্রাধিকার।-পুরুষ ও মহিলা শিক্ষার্থী নেওয়া হয়।
-আবাসিক এই ট্রেনিং-এর সময় ৬-৮ মাস। -মাসিক খাওয়া খরচ : ৩০০০ টাকা।

More about the Training
"Amader Haspatal" has been running for the past 14 years at Phulberia village in Chatna block of Bankura district. It has become a reliable place for poor and middle-class patients not only from that Bankura and Purulia districts, but also from other neighboring districts of Midnapore, Hooghly and border areas of Jharkhand. The hospital has become a model against the commercialization of health across the country through science-based treatment methods, low-cost essential tests and use of ultra-cheap generic drugs. In addition to patient treatment, a residential program to train health workers has been running for the past 8 years. Till date more than 100 students are successfully providing medical services in different villages of West Bengal after training. They also earn their living with honesty and respect.
Residential Batches join every year in March or April and continue for 6 to 8 months. Farming, cooking and physical labor in fields during stay in our hospital are mandatory part of training. Certificate is given at the end of training. Students are selected through test and interview.

The trainees are required to take ten oaths at the convocation ceremony on the principles by which they will serve patients.
After the training, they get advice and instructions through mobile if needed.
